The firm offers more than 60 years of combined experience representing clients in the areas of: Brouillette & Brouillette began as a team of brothers practicing law in Michigan and Wisconsin in the mid-1950's. The transition from the 1950's to the present has been an interesting one - from novice attorneys representing clients in criminal, divorce, land, business and tax matters, and entering the emerging field of personal injury, to skilled and seasoned attorneys concentrating on courtroom work in the fields of personal injury, criminal and family law. Brouillette & Brouillette is now a father - daughter team: Francis Brouillette and Lisa Brouillette. Both are well respected in the legal community, as well as in their respective cities and neighborhoods. Francis Brouillette’s legal background includes 12 years as prosecuting attorney and corporation counsel in Dickinson County, Michigan, a thriving trial and personal injury practice beginning in the 1950's, and 13 years as 41st Circuit Court Judge for Dickinson, Iron and Menominee Counties. Prior to starting a law practice with her father, Lisa Brouillette practiced law with her sister, Mary B. Barglind, as well as with two cousins, Bruce and Brian Brouillette, in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Lisa focused her early years representing indigent criminal defendants, divorce and post-divorce clients, and preparing most pleadings, research and trial preparation for the firm’s personal injury practice. Lisa Brouillette opened her own practice in 1994 in Florence, Wisconsin, with continual appearances in the borderland counties’ courtrooms, earning her own reputation for excellence and devotion to client service. Today, Lisa and Fran Brouillette frequently appear together in the courtroom, a luxury few attorneys experience. Together they have litigated personal injury jury trials, conducted jailhouse interviews, and swayed numerous judges and opposing counsel with their legal briefs and arguments.
